Lake of the Ozarks is well-known as one of the premier vacation and second home destinations in the Midwest with boating, lodging, golfing, great entertainment and restaurants that feature the best sunsets …which is how it all started for us. In the 1970s, our family was in the same position many of you are now – we were the ones travelling to the Lake most weekends to relax. Joining family and friends by the Lake to watch the amazing summer sunsets – we liked it here so much that we purchased property and built our resort, Summerset Inn, starting in 1971. We expanded our business in 1982, by opening our second venue, Summerset Boat Lifts.
We pride ourselves in service, and it’s what sets us apart from everyone else. As a dealer for DuraTek, Summerset Boat Lifts employs personnel for all aspects of the boat lift business — sales, shipping, assembly, installation and service are all provided by our own employees. We control our schedule to meet the needs of our customers. We want our customers to relax knowing their boat lift needs are being handled by professionals. Summerset’s record of service after the sale is unparallel in the boat lift industry. We don’t just sell you a lift, we sell you our service. Don’t worry that you’ve never operated a lift before! Our team will be on the dock with you as necessary for an orientation the first time you bring the boat to your dock. We train you how to operate the lift, but more importantly, teach you how to use it comfortably.

Our expert boat lift team is skilled to handle service and repair requests for your lifts. Since we are under the same ownership of DuraTek Boat Lifts, we have parts on hand to repair your lift.
